Culinary Enterprises

The Center for Culinary Enterprises will be Philadelphia’s first food business incubator. We will transform a vacant supermarket building at 48th and Spruce Streets into a 12,500+ square-foot, LEED-certified facility. Multiple components will create a comprehensive vision.

The CCE will include the “e-Kitchen,” a multimedia learning center with a demonstration kitchen and public-access computer lab; three shared-use commercial kitchens for rent, equipped with cold and dry storage spaces; Little Louie’s BBQ, a full-service restaurant with a program for high school students; two retail spaces for community food businesses; and an urban mini-farm to create the potential for a complete local food system. Visit the CCE’s website to learn more.
